Legs were tired this morning but still pushed on up the hills.

Sometimes it was good and sometimes I felt like I was swimming in treacle.

I think 2nd place was the result of not making big mistakes. I was never really at the pointy end of splits but other than #1, no disasters.
I didn't see the gap at #1 so ended up losing 25 seconds but after that no major loses.
I tried to keep one ahead of the planning and took a 5 second pause if I had not plan.
Turns out there was a hole in the fence on the way to #21 so that explains why some runners got more than 10 seconds on me on a really short leg that I nailed.

I actually felt good running tonight and its slowly coming together.

The flight home was delayed so very late to bed. An afternoon nap was more important than training.
