When I left the house this morning there was no snow. However 5 miles away I couldn't see the road for snow so I had to turn back home. I wouldn't have had enough time to get to warrick and race, so fortunately the south of england road relays were being held in aldershot and I got a run on the short leg for the B team.
The weather cleared up for me and I had a good run. Worked well on the hills(lots of them) and felt good all the way around.

running warm up/down 20:00 [1] 2.5 mi (8:00 / mi)
shoes: Twisters

Orienteering race 47:59 [5] **** 6.5 km (7:23 / km) +230m 6:16 / km
ahr:177 max:188 spiked:17/23c shoes: Twisters

Too many mistakes. Started great and caught sight of my minute man by the 2nd control, went well until the 10th when I was too low. Overtook him again on the way to 11. Too far north on 13 and went even further north. Got to 13 eventually and guess what? He was just punching ahead of me. Lead a pack around to 17, over shot it and lost a good 1.30. Completely blew 22 by 3.30. Again too far north, should have gone around on the path but made a bad decision. As I got it my minute man was again ahead of me.
Technically not good but I felt great physically.

Army 4 Div relays. Blackwood. I decided that if I'm gonna take a whole day off work then I'm going to get my monies worth and do all three legs on my own. Legs were 4.39, 2.75 and 3.43. Felt pretty good and the forest was fast underfoot.

Track. Quite windy in the home straight tonight but otherwise good conditions. 10x800 with 1.20 recovery. All reps in 2.35. Felt good tonight, didn't push hard at all and made sure I didn't go into lactic.
