I haven't been as consistent with my stationary biking as I had hoped for the winter, but it has still had a positive impact. Certainly riding a folding, stationary bike is not the same experience as
riding a road bike, but while there are fitness benefits, the greatest boon has been for my mental health. The pandemic has been challenging for everyone, and despite having a fairly stable and comfortable circumstance, I have struggled with my mental health and general well-being. Hopping on my stationary bike for thirty or sixty minutes inordinately improves my state, and I am grateful for this mechanism.
