I had planned this route a little in advance, but I just threw caution to the wind and went for it. I have been wary of popped tubes lately, but fortuitously, the TTC has numerous small bicycle
repair stops at about thirty subway stations. They're nothing more than a pump, a clamp, and a set of tools, but they are free, convenient, and adequate for routine maintenance. Secure bike parking at TTC stops is generally inadequate. Anyway, the ride was glorious, though the first and last parts through trafficked streets need revision.
