Jeep trail next door and front of house loop. Actually got out at 1150am, though I had planned to go out no later than 11. Temp around 60, chilly breeze.

Vegetation on jeep trail has now died back enough that it is not a problem.

Legs felt pretty decent. Pushed the pace a little, but careful not to over do it.

Splits remarkably similar to the only other time I did this, 6-20-2018.

At home. Still just trying to ramp up again. Two sets each of arm rotations, curls and presses, interleaved with two sets each of "100's" and leg lifts. 8 bar dips.

Stanford. Training course set by Riley. 2.7 km (straight line), 20 controls. Several were in a newly mapped section. Nice cool evening.

Two mistakes: #5, didn't see the uncrossable wall, so didn't take the optimal route. Maybe 5-10 sec error; #16, multilevel situation, didn't see the way down, eventually went down the way I came up, lost around 30 seconds.

Didn't push the running very hard, but certainly livelier than the the two runs I've had since Wyoming. Lots of fun!

Afterwards, chat briefly with Riley, Jitka, Carlo and Kevin (they were starting at 6:30).

Oracle gym. Hadn't done these in a few weeks (due in part to the Rocky Mtn O-Fest, then a sore back). Did a little bit of everything.

Front of house. 76 degrees, nice breeze, course 80% in the shade even at this time of day at this time of year.

Rather lethargic, even after a decent night's sleep and a pre-run nap. Back is mostly better, didn't interfere with the run at all.

Towards the end of the second lap, thought maybe if I picked up the pace that would get me out of the lethargy a bit, and that seemed to work.
