Jeep trail next door. Low energy day. Was planning just a warm up anyway. Took an O-map with me to read on the run. Really haven't done any O-specific training in weeks.

Jeep trail next door. Got out at 7:25 to beat the heat. Just wanted an extended warm-up. Towards the end was feeling pretty good, going a little faster than I expected.

Splits are for 2 laps at a time, 0.4 miles:

Been feeling some pain in my right heel, and sure don't want the plantar facsiitis to get bad again. Thinking maybe it's because I've been wearing the Speedcrosses for every run, so wore the (rather worn) Kayanos for this run.

Lake Ranch Reservoir. We got there at 815 figuring parking would be difficult if we went later. Not feeling too chipper, having been awake since 430 and not having had a full breakfast. Planned to run easily, and I did, in terms of cardio. Legs didn't really want to go a whole lot faster anyway.
