Running (Easy distance) 55:47 [3] 5.15 mi (10:50 / mi)
shoes: Salomon SC3 Bl/Bl 2

Los Gatos Creek Trail and Vasona Park. Could see it was foggy in the valley, and since I had to go down anyway, figured I'd run down there. But by the time I got out, 11:30, it was hot there and I was kind of hungry and tired. Nevertheless, ran with L from the JCC and then N on the Creek Trail. Margins are very overgrown, so too much pavement if I stay on the trail, so decided instead to run around the grass fields (mostly on my own), seeking out shade whenever possible. Was really dragging, so just tried to keep an easy pace and get in the distance. A little surprised at how fast the last two splits were (though the last one has a boost by running downhill from the dam).

207 - From entering the trail N of Lark to the 4.5 mi pole
542 - 4.0 pole (N part of lake)
541 - 3.5 pole (near restroom)
535 - 3.0 pole (near Blosson Hill underpass)
2653 - Calculate 2.48 miles based on 1050/mi pace
501 - from 3.5 pole to 4.0
448 - 4.5 pole

[Easy distance]
