Sunday Jun 24 #

Note
(sick)

Today walking was tiring.

Saturday Jun 23 #

9 AM

Orienteering 52:17 [2] 5.82 km (8:59 / km) +23m 8:48 / km

Some morning orienteering in Lunsen with the Irish crew in town for Ruairi and Gina's wedding. I am definitely sick though :( My body finally gave into the cold that is going around the whole family. First Ross, then my dad, then Sofie and now me (and then the next day my mom).

Thursday Jun 21 #

4 PM

road run (stroller) 1:12:52 [2] 10.06 km (7:15 / km) +107m 6:53 / km

Running with Mom and Dad, while pushing Sofie. She was great company today, falling asleep about 15 minutes in, sleeping for 30 minutes and then just chatting with herself in the stroller for the end. Did one of my favorite stroller loops, which goes along the lake on a boardwalk.

Wednesday Jun 20 #

8 AM

road run 33:09 [2] 5.49 km (6:02 / km) +60m 5:43 / km

A morning run to get out of the house.
6 PM

terrain running 18:17 [1] 1.71 km (10:43 / km) +12m 10:21 / km

Went out to prerun in Upplandsberget for the Linné event coming up this fall. There was a fairly long trek to the start.

Orienteering 1:11:46 [2] 6.74 km (10:39 / km) +53m 10:15 / km

I signed up to run the 7.5km course, but that was too much. I forgot how heavy the terrain is, and it's still challenging for me to pick up my legs while orienteering. Good strength training though! I skipped controls 4 and 5, shortening the course a bit, but that made it possible to finish happily. Mostly really nice terrain, just have to be stronger to be able to run continuously through it (lots of walking out there today).

Tuesday Jun 19 #

5 PM

road&trail run 37:55 intensity: (1:27 @0) + (20:19 @1) + (16:09 @2) 5.86 km (6:28 / km) +51m 6:12 / km
ahr:128 max:150

Running to KG to Dad, and then to the start, and then the loop so that people knew where it went.

trail run 34:40 intensity: (4:10 @0) + (1:12 @1) + (11:42 @2) + (14:32 @3) + (3:04 @4) 6.51 km (5:19 / km) +72m 5:03 / km
ahr:162 max:177

Intervaller: 4-4-3-3-2-2-1-1-0.5-0.5-0.5-0.5min
Vila: 2-2-1-1-1-1-0.5-0.5-0.5-0.5-0.5-0.5min

Not many people tonight so ran a bit alone. I could see the group in front of me but they were pulling away. On the 2 minute intervals and shorter they were close enough to try to hang off the back of.

road&trail run 26:04 intensity: (18:40 @1) + (7:24 @2) 3.58 km (7:17 / km) +11m 7:10 / km
ahr:118 max:151

Running back to KG and then home again with Dad.

Monday Jun 18 #

3 PM

road run 1:05:00 [2] 11.92 km (5:27 / km) +154m 5:07 / km

Mom and Dad took Sofie for a walk so I could run by myself. It was wonderful. I am slow. Must look into incorporating strength training again.
