Sunday Oct 15 #

other (Walking) 1:05:00 [1] 5.4 km (12:02 / km)

Destination walking today. A bunch of people trained hills this morning and gathered for lunch afterwards at a house about 2.7km away. So for our walk we went there to say hello. Sofie slept the whole time, waking up just a bit right before we arrived home. I was actually a bit tired and sore when we arrived home. Long road back!

other (Walking) 17:00 [1] 1.3 km (13:05 / km)

Sofie survived the stroller! She doesn’t like being put down alone (she loves napping on someone or in the carrier) so this was a big accomplishment! She was awake the whole time and although not thrilled she didn’t start crying until the very end, and then Ross just carried her down our street home.

other (Walking) 40:00 [1] 3.0 km (13:20 / km)

After the stroller outing we went out again with Sofie in the Moby wrap. It’s a beautiful fall day, finally not raining!

I think this was a slightly longer walk than usual. First I returned the recycling. We had so much that I had Sofie in the carrier, but then I filled the stroller with recycling. I knew that thing would come in handy ;) Then short laps not too far from home. A beautiful fall day!

Sofie changes everyday, which is fascinating, but sure makes it challenging. Now she has trouble falling asleep. She is awake for sometimes 4 hours at a time, and really needs to sleep, but she can't stay asleep. I put her in the carrier and did laps of the house and she did eventually nod off. So instead of morning group nap, we instead went for our walk. This was a good choice, as it was the only time during the day when it wasn't raining.

other (walking) 50:00 [1] 4.0 km (12:30 / km)

Out walking with Sofie again. I think she was a bit oddly positioned in the carrier, and her head felt like it was bouncing against my chest. I also worry that she can't breath in the thing sometimes. Anyone else have this same worry? I stopped and repositioned her after a bit, and that seemed to help. Went the other way on Gula Stigen today. We've had an incredible amount of rain, so it was a bit muddy in places. Today was wonderfully sunny though and it was nice to see that the sun still exists :)

Brought the umbrella again today and remembered the recycling. So Sofie and I stopped at the recycling center to start our walk. It was windy and s bit chilly. I noticed that Sofie had stuck a leg out, so was careful to cover it with my jacket. She didn’t seem to notice. We walked longer and again I thought she was waking up, but she slept awhile more once we were home.

Monday Oct 9 #

other (walking) 20:00 [1]

Sofie and I went for a walk. I couldn't take being cooped up, so grabbed a half awake Sofie, put her in the carrier, grabbed an umbrella and headed out into the rain! Only a short walk, as I didn't want to get too far away and have her wake up. She moved around a bit, but stayed asleep :)
