This morning Ross and Cristina headed out early for 25manna, while Sofie and I slept in. She did sleep long enough for me to shower and grab a quick breakfast. The other day I made Smitten Kitchen's Date Bars, so I would have a quick thing to grab to eat in the morning.

Then Sofie, Ross and I got all fancied up and we went to a friend's wedding, about an hour away. Sofie was on her best behavior for most of the evening, which means that she slept through most of the happenings. She joined us for dinner and managed to fall asleep and stay asleep in our arms, even after being passed to the bride and groom to hold for a bit. She started to get a bit cranky around 8pm, so we headed home after the cake cutting. Overall I'm quite happy with how to the whole evening went!

Cristina came to visit! We went on a group walk with ross carrying Sofie. A cool day but great to get out. Even managed to stop at the grocery store on the way back. That was the last time Sofie slept for more than 2 hours at a time in the last 24 hours. She's a (adorable) handful!

A pleasant walk after the rain stopped. Sofie fell asleep in the car on the way home from the lactation specialist (breastfeeding is no joke people) and so I took the chance to walk. A bit worried that I would come back to Anger Demon, but little Sugarmuffin was still napping contentedly away. Had enough time to grab a chai latte (I did manage to make more chai syrup concentrate the other day when she was sleeping) and an orange before she started waking up.

Also, I know this was done before, but I'm looking for book recommendations. Something fairly light, as I'm a bit sleep deprived.
