In to work, today I walked down the steps and then cycled up Swanston St and along La Trobe instead of around the path. Much faster, but definitely more sketchy in parts, particularly the raised tram stops on Swanston where pedestrians don't look before stepping out.

Ran on the freshly surfaced path on the south of the river at the start of my run today. It's nicer than I thought. Feeling fatigued, heavy legged.

In to work, trying to skip the heat this arvo (running in the morning is the pits). Did a partial lap of the Tan so I thought this would actually be around 11km, but forgot that I went down the steps to the river which cut distance from the start. Probably for the best, was short on time when I arrived.

At Prahran. Normally not a fan of evening swims but was very glad for it today!! Very very busy pool unsurprisingly, we had about 12 people in the lane at the start. Thinned out though. Lots of drills then some solid 100s.

First ride into work. Faffed around trying to turn right on Toorak Rd and then right on River St, took ages. Crossed the river at the Tan, was alright until around Flinders St then there were lots of awkward road crossings and the path stopped and started heaps.

Home from work, thought I'd try crossing to the South Bank at Polly Woodside. Mistake - Southbank was insaaaane and there's no separation between bikes and peds. Both ways seem to have their ups and downs!

Wanted so much to get out to the Arrows run at Bridgewater but it became logistically impossible. Watched the final stage at Willunga Hill today, cycled 8km each way from McLaren Vale to Willunga and back, then drove home (took about 9hrs with a dinner stop).
