Clifton gardens summer series, feeling pretty rubbish running (never likely to be good after a work lunch), with loads of pretty stupid mistakes in the circles -both self inflicted and with hidden controls. Wasn't running quick enough for the route, so came back late, skipping quite a few on the way, and it got really dark on the trails towards the end which compounded problems (particularly with the hidden controls).

NRG trail run around manly, with some Team Salomon athletes (Lucy Bartholemew & Steph Auston) along for the ride, Steph joined our small "fast" group for the run to the spit and provided good chat. Then it was just me, Lauchy & Dalmiro as we headed up to Seaforth oval and around manly dam, back via the streets and beach where the pace struggled a little so I got some beach running practice in for the holidays.
Good hit out on a hot and humid day, swim afterwards was top notch levels of refreshment. Nice to run Manly dam trails for the first time in ages outwith orienteering, and to run the others in the opposite direction to normal.
After three months and maybe five runs the stitching for one of the bottle holders on my Salomon vest burst, which wasn't a great advert for them. Tried some new shoes afterwards which were good though not sure I'd choose them at $250+ when I can typically get old faithful inov8s for around $100.
