Easy run around to Norths lookout over Nellies Glen then back via explorers tree, ran & had some chat with the Tarrawera RD for a bit while he was checking the UTA course.

UTA spectating & crewing for Nicole. Saw the two leaders heading to the Aquatic centre then smashed round to the top of Nellies to see Jono & the rest of the top ten come through, along with the first few ladies. Got a good review from the guys livestreaming the race with my cowbelling. Seeing as a couple of club mates were in the mix hung on for them which made my blast down Megalong to see Nicole a little late, with the course changes a little unknown she was way up on schedule - missed her by 5 mins (thankfully not a crewed CP with changes). So then I had a race against the clock to get back to the Aquatic centre, via a blackheath bakery stop, but back was seizing up climbing out of Megalong and had to stop to stretch it, so only just made it with a couple of minutes to spare.

Went back to the house for a chill & stretch, then headed back out to catch Nicole near Edinburgh castle rock and Wentworth falls, before picking up a pizza (eventually) and racing down to QVH, just beating her and with enough time to setup a chair and kit. Beer & pizza went down well, then off to Fairmount and finally the finish line, 90 mins up on last year (putting that down to the pizza).
