Test running one of the Big Foot sprint courses, would have been both had I not gone out to re-run a leg I ballsed up first time round and put a large stick into my shin. Didn't notice straight away but looked down to see lots of blood bubbling out of a deep looking wound so that was a rather abrupt end to training.
Thanks to Jayne & Eoin for sorting me out and getting me to hospital for two nights at RNS, with lots of antibiotics and an op to clean & sew up an 8cm gash.
I'm now hobbling about on crutches (and not enjoying all the stairs in my house) so that's my running for the year over - lucky I'm going back to the UK soon to hibernate.
