Time to get back into the long run routine, thankfully the boys went easy on me as we did N Sydney to Manly via Cremorne/Balmoral/Spit and I was holding up ok until around 20km, then they hared off over the final km or so into Manly.

Cracking day out though, ice block at Clontarf, swim at Manly, paddle & poutine at 4 pines then tasty prawn & avocado toast at Fika.

Not the most restful night's sleep, noisy wallabies all night (tried nicking my bag/getting into my food from my tent) but an awesome place to wake up. After a quick dip and brekky surrounded by wallabies took on the tough climb out of The Basin which was a bloody tough way to start the day, West Head road was far more pleasant as the sun was burning through the morning mist and again it was reasonable riding until halfway along Forest Way when traffic came to a standstill. Legs didn't have much to give up from Roseville Bridge either.

Out after work with Bart to West Head & the Basin via Roseville Bridge.

Not the best start, 15 minutes in I got an allen key through the tyre, but after fixing that we eventually got free of the traffic on Forest Way and it was lovely evening riding out to West Head and a brake gripping descent down to The Basin for a spot of camping.
