No official club training today, so I joined Sam and Evelina and Samantha for an easy run around NĂ¥sten's trails. Lovely weather, fine company and only just a tad bit sore still from Rockgympa.

It's been awhile since I've pushed hard on one circuit of backbana. Charged downhill after Joffe and Niklas but was unable to keep their high tempo on the climb, Jakob A was ahead of me for the next bit but then he dropped back to follow, as he didn't know the course, then he dropped even more because he built up too much lactic acid on the wall.

The conditions were dark and a bit slippery so I was pleased to go through the halfway in just under 12 minutes, but conditions remained dark and slippery and I was getting tired so did not really get close to my PR for the course. I was amused when I passed Sam about 15 minutes in, and she exclaimed that I had to have cheated to be so fast :)

Niklas was about 24, which is speedy indeed. Maybe possible on a day when I am not feeling sore from rockgympa and when my stomach is a bit more agreeable about the hard effort.

We waited for everyone to finish the course and then a easy recovery jog back home. A bit light headed with the exertion, but a few glasses of water and a quick rinse in the shower, then back out the door to celebrate the club's SM races and to get excited about 25-manna coming up.

I brought 7 wonders just in case, and we managed to find a full group of people willing to stay later and play with us :)

Had intended to get a longer run in, but by the time I was ready to head out the door, this was all I had time for. Quick run to work.

Strength (Rockgympa) 40:00 [3]

First time this season for Rockgympa. Truly missed Loefaas's capable leadership and even Johan's capable leadership. Tonight we had Ross's laughable leadership which involved a lot of guessing and deep delving into the memories to recall what exercise came next.

After one round, only Anna wanted to continue to the second half, so we moved off to the side to allow the rest of the crew space for Innebandy. 40 minutes of strength is a lot for a first time out.

Johan is designing a new routine, am excited to see how he incorporates the song "What does the fox say" :)

Played a bit of Innebandy, though there weren't enough people to stick around until 8 o'clock as normal. Most fun game was a 2 vs 3 game where Eric and I teamed up... that was high intensity for sure.
