A new day in Switzerland, and Sandra had plans for us. Sandra and one of her juniors, Alex, headed off to set controls up all around the town in Neuchatel. So they left Sam and me to jog along the shore to where the start of our first sprint course. We had a few minutes to wait after we arrived, so we also spent some time doing CSU track drills. It's sad to miss out on the Tuesday Track sessions, but at least we can do our Frankenstein drills and our cradles.

This Sprint was entitled Speed, and was mostly flat around buildings, heading in and out of courtyards. The first control was hung so low that I completely missed seeing it, and I thought that maybe there was a higher level and that I needed to climb the stairs to get to a platform or something. As I climbed the stairs I saw it was just lying on the ground behind me... things were a little smoother after that, a bit of a poor choice to 2, but clean to the rest. Slower than Alex for sure, but not too much slower.
