Loch Ordie

Set off to the start with Claire and was tired by the time I got there, got my breath back before setting off on the last start at 2pm, hadn't had any lunch so was also a bit hungry. Plodded round in a stumbly sort of a way, only really ran in the marshes as the heather was too long, had a clean run but ended up very dirty! Fantastic views - did anyone look? So glad to finish but was sad that the week went so quickly. Looking forward to the next one already.

Barry Buddon

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! Oops! Far too many mistakes in the dunes, not like me at all but there were plenty of other headless chickens for company.

Tentsmuir

I spiked all but one of the controls except that getting there seemed to be a bit of a problem - set off to #5 from #3 thinking that I was at #4 and went round in circles looking for #5 in completely the wrong area - stupid!

Another great area with the sun shining - what more could you ask for?

Tullochroisk

Now that's more like it - a course to get your teeth into... absolutely fabulous area, loved the splish splosh and muck! Best place of the week, more please.

Kinnoul and Deuchny

I've never had the pleasure of running here before so it was a whole new experience. I caught a fellow competitor and was behind her on the way to 6, which I'm sure we both passed as it was tucked out of sight. Spent another five minutes wandering around in the vagueness between the gorse bushes before finding a decent attackpoint. Met up with Mrs X at the next control and was aware of her behind me for a long time - I didn't like it as I found it distracting, mucked up another control and was pretty jaded about the whole course - not a very good one for me!

Dalrunzion

Fairly clean run but exceedingly slow on one leg as I never found the ride I was aiming for as I meandered through the light green, eventually relocated on another control but lost quite a lot of time faffing! A few wobbles in the open at the end - doh...
