Second day of ESG. Blue course. Skating this time. No errors per ser until the last control which was placed quite unconventional. I should have been more carefull but two 180 degrees turnes to and from the last control in addition to different(hardly visible) control circle played a trick. So I skied to finish from #15, skipping #16. Well, at least it did not happened in a miiddle of the course. After finishing and realizing the sequence, had to go and get the last one. At #15 I was a couple minutes behing Jeff.

ESG Dewey Mtn. Red course. Used classsic skies as there was plenty of fresh snow and I did not expect much skating opportunities at the top. As a late registrant started the first and all the snowshoe trails were nicely hidden under several inches of snow. Made a couple bobbles on snowshoe trails - less than a minute each but recovered nicely both times. A couple nicely done cuts earning 2-4 minutes back. Overall not too bad - loosing less than a minute to Jeff.
