Wow. Fastest I’ve run in 2 years without really trying. Focus continues on high cadence, touch and go, try not to “toe off” with the right foot. This is the closest I’ve felt for years as to how I was running during Boston training.

I now think some of my knee pain in the last two years may be at least partly due to running mechanics rather than the alleged arthritis.

I suddenly had a memory that I had the same medial knee pain in both knees as a high schooler and I tried to remedy it using arch support inserts, which shoes did not come with at the time. The (self) diagnosis at the time was flat feet and excessive inward pronation.
