QOC Wheaton Regional Park - Red

Advanced courses all seemed on the shorter side and Red was more the typical length of Green.

Still tired from yesterday. Just felt ploddy and legs had no turnover. Near the end it was not possible to run at all.

Missed 2 low, but knew I was too far based on the position of the lake and bridge, and doubled back higher to snag it. Also did a fantastic forward somersault (something I could never do on purpose if I tried) after catching my toe on a log while stepping over. Thought I could get through the overgrown open area to 4, but it turned out to be these horrible vines (thankfully without thorns!) that could get you all tangled up within seconds. So had to bail to the paved path and take that around the top which cost time.

Nobody complimented my pants today, but several people seemed amazed that I was from PA? It's not that far. And I'm here all the time in Jan-March especially.

Not too scratched up, considering the place.
