Aberdeen Half Marathon.
83rd place and 6th V50. Second V50 only 55secs ahead!
Time pretty much as expected even if not as hoped. Course/conditions a minor mitigation but no more.

Won by Kris in 66mins (won by five mins). Roger 83mins for 28th.

Nice first 8km with the wind behind and a bit of downhill into the bargain. Tougher thereafter with some steep little climbs and plenty of time back into the wind. Liked the course, varied route through lots of different parts of the city.

Hamstring niggly from outset and pretty sore from halfway. Six weeks to Chicago....

Waited at the finish for Kris at the prizegiving but delay meant short warm down was all a bit stiff and painful. Barely a shuffle!
