Croeso Day 1, Kenfig.
M45L, 4th place.

Shaky start, running okay but never quite in control, and dropped some time at #4 and a little at #5 too. Started to get to grips with things after that but made the (seemingly quite common - Bill/Charlie/Neil too) mistake of running too far at #17 to look behind the wrong block of trees. Probably 2 or 3 very avoidable minutes lost here.

Bill won in 49, Rich B did 51, I was 4th as EOD Tim Tett had to run M45 too and ran 51.

Clive ran 49 and Chas 52 on M50 which was the same course.

Enjoyed it, challenging but much more chance to run than the intensity of last week!

Training day at Merthyr Mawr.

A sunny day at the beach!
An ice-cream before training, a bit of trotting round some controls on a very out of date map (a lot more green and spiky and overgrown than shown), decided I had seen enough at the far end so had a fun 2km jog back along the beach. Then another ice cream :)
