Running 33:34 [3] 7.0 km (4:48 / km) +20m 4:44 / km
shoes: Brooks Ghost 7

Head clearer after a late night, from the flat along to London Bridge, along to Palace of Westminster, over bridge and back along the South Bank. Got easier....

Running warm up/down 10:14 [2] 2.05 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Brooks Ghost 7

Up the towpath from Limehouse to Mile End Park. Short loop in the park.

Running race 19:42 [5] 5.0 km (3:56 / km) +30m 3:50 / km
shoes: Brooks Ghost 7

Mile End Parkrun
Under 20mins and in the top 20 (of 175), calf not an issue during it, this probably exceeded my expectations on all counts to be honest.
It also exceeded my expectation of a flat course beside the canal, two lap course with plenty of undulation going on!
Enjoyed it.

Running warm up/down 12:40 [2] 2.21 km (5:44 / km)
shoes: Brooks Ghost 7

Shuffled round the park immediately after, then a bit more comfortably back down the towpath for breakfast.

Note

Yesterday was the first real test of my calf on hilly stuff. Seemed okay although still only at about 85-90%.
Would be nervous to try it with hill reps which seems a good reason to avoid them for a while yet!
Next test - a bit of running on the roads on Thursday night....,
7 PM

Orienteering 45:00 intensity: (30:00 @3) + (15:00 @4) 8.19 km (5:30 / km) +50m 5:20 / km
shoes: Brooks Ghost 7

Lamp-O round Torbrex etc courtesty of Geoffrey H.
Got 20 of the 30 controls, should have been 21 but got confused cutting through the back of the business park with 3 mins to go and ended up running right round a building to come out where I had started from.....
Good fun and ran a bit harder towards the end, down to just a bit over 4min/km. Calf seemed to be okay with the harder running.

Orienteering 1:20:00 [3] 9.5 km (8:25 / km) +232m 7:30 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-talon 2014

Touch again. Quite a bit of snow higher up. Quality.
Although a shame that after this I found the permission we have for next week doesn't cover much of the course I had planned. Ooops
7 PM

Orienteering 55:00 intensity: (40:00 @2) + (15:00 @3) 6.17 km (8:55 / km) +213m 7:36 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-talon 2014

Stealth-o at Kinnoull, very pleasant out there.

Got a lift there from Will, left my torch battery in my own car. GG's backup torch to the rescue. As a result just puntered round doing a bit of spectating until all through the first loop, then collected those ones.

Circuits 30:00 [2]
weight:77.7kg

Missed Pilates entirely. But tried quite hard in the doubled-up circuits session. Running afterwards in the monsoon just wasn't that appealing...
