Running 27:31 [3] 5.34 km (5:09 / km) +40m 4:58 / km
ahr:137 max:151

Run through to the flat to retrieve stray bags of kit. Left foot definitely much improved, right calf/achilles seems a bit less tight too. Might have to think about doing some training again soon....

Note
(rest day)

Physio. Left foot problem likely to be fascia-related but seemingly I can run on it provided I am diligent with various stretching etc.

Orienteering 1:00:11 [4] 9.73 km (6:11 / km) +156m 5:44 / km
ahr:146 max:157 shoes: Inov8 x-talon

FVO night race, Hermitage Woods and Stirling Uni
Foot definitely improved so decided worth giving it a go...

Minimal warmup and the start was far too quick for me! Gaffling of three loops, short and medium ones on the campus and a long one going campus-woodland-campus. Had the two campus loops first but lagging well behind Rosco, Helen and Fraser on the first one. Alone after that which was probably a good thing for not pushing too hard!

One miss of maybe a minute tops, descending to a crag in the woodland and getting caught in bramble too far east. Pretty clean otherwise. Foot okay on the campus but protesting a little bit where it was uneven later(branches and logs underfoot on the slope).

All good fun and glad I did it - seven mins down is quite a lot though....

Note
(injured)

Physio booked for Thurs.
Maybe the psychological effect of booking but foot seems a bit less sore today.
Tempted to run at FVO night race tomorrow night given I have physio on Thurs anyway.....

Circuits 30:00 [2]
(injured)

Even later than last week, which was a shame as could have done with the Pilates session.
In time for circuits at least, again with impact exercises replaced with others.
