A bit worried about leaving my car as it was shaking a lot in the wind even while it had my great weight inside it, but persuaded myself out into the pouring rain.
No need for a headtorch, with lightning illuminating the vast puddles across the road and pavement.
Was loving it so went for an extra long warm up round Riverside before coming back to Ballengeich to see if my calf was up to some hill reps.....

....which increasingly it wasn't, plus my nervousness about it meant I wasn't really pushing all that hard. And my legs felt v heavy anyway. So bailed on the session after the third time up the hill.
