Left car at the office and ran home with headtorch in the dark and fog down the Carse road, could see about 2 strides ahead most of the time. All felt quite surreal, even had to stop at one junction to work out which was the road and which was someone's driveway!

Run with Rosco (and his sister's dogs) checking out possible sprint race area, took forever to drive there after work because of fog, for a while I thought it might be so foggy we wouldn't see anything on the run anyway.

Luckily on arrival it was only mild fog/drizzle so all was well, and the area got a big thumbs up, looks great :).

Less luckily one of the dogs got a badly cut paw :(

323 hours logged this year, 24 days of year remaining.

274 hours of running/orienteering so far this year. Last year was 367 hours logged but only 244 hours of running/orienteering.

2 laps of the loch with nearly 6 mins in between, second one a reverse chasing start. Felt like I had tight hamstrings and no speed and I was oh-so-right, it may have been dark and muddy and pouring with rain but even so was frighteningly slower than a few months back, did 9:27 then 9:42 where I was running in just under 9mins at the end of reps sessions in June. Tightened up a bit in between which didn't help either.
