Orienteering race 1:14:03 [5] 12.0 km (6:10 / km) +490m 5:07 / km

JK long race. Ashdown Forest. generally good race. lost over a minute on 4, route choice error. also got very tired towards the end, lost time on running speed, the course was not technical. lost 2 places on the run in. thats twice now i've missed out on 2nd by 4sec and now 3sec...at least it's getting closer.

Orienteering race 38:43 [5] 6.6 km (5:52 / km) +220m 5:02 / km

JK middle race. Leith Hill. quality run best for a very long time. only a few 20 sec mistakes in the technical sections but otherwise almost perfect.

Orienteering race 26:00 [5] 2.7 km (9:38 / km)

JK sprint at Surrey Uni. did not get into the map at all and ran too quickly without taking the time to read the map properly. whoops.

Tuesday Mar 18, 2008 #

Running warm up/down 16:00 [3] 2.5 km (6:24 / km)

warm up and rest

Running intervals 12:00 [5] 4.23 km (2:50 / km)

2*800m (90sec rest)
2*600m (70sec rest)
2*400m (60sec rest)
2*200m (30sec rest)

very tough, wasn't far but very fast and little rest.
