Woke up with a strange feeling in my throat and sore shins. No training today.

Warm up with Henrik Löfås, shins felt fine.

Drakloppet (Salomon Trail Tour): Since my physical shape is close to non-existant the plan was to open easy on the initial 1.5km to the where the long climb start. Löfås and Svanebo formed the leading pack straight from the start with two other guys trying to follow. I got left in no man's land in 5th position ahead of the big pack. Felt OK when I hit the climb and started gaining on the guy in front. 2/3rds up the climb my lack of training revealed itself and the trend turn the other way. Got caught by another runner in the final meters of the climb. Recovered well in the first downhill section but the shins started hurting. Lowered the pace a bit to see how the body reacted but the pain didn't go away. Caught the guy in front really easy on the rocky trail section, but decided there was no point of continuing and walked back. FUCK!

Easy trail run to check the status of the legs. Not the same pain anymore, but still not 100%. Will decide later tonight if I will run the race tomorrow or not.
