Hamstrings and legs painful. Did not make it any better with a really boring terraing and course. So When being at 20th of 27 controls I decided to cut and call it a day. Too much pain

Aim was to push as long as possible. I actually hoped I would be able to run fast the whole way.
It went alright both technically and physical until 13th control (one 1min mistake at 10th I think). Checking the splittimes I can see that I am doing well, and round about 2nd/3rd in the forest just under 1min behind Vetle. Than I took the straight routechoice and lost 4min to Vetle... than I made a mistake to the 16th control going wrong direction of. The compass I had was shitty, some old Silva stuff. Anyway, after 14th I could feel my legs getting worse and worse, my usually injury hamstring problems. So after that mistake the offensive running was gone. I was suddenly slowing down, having pain and the rest was just running threw.
so quite funny to loose 10min from 13th control home...
