And there it is done. To the lovely Brocken with a bike from my home. Krügerol and me decided to take it easy, at least the whole way to the Brocken. The beginning was lovely. Actually the road up to the Brocken is not open for public walking and biking, but since it was a "holy" moly day, we were able to go uphill. At a bit under 800hm Robert got "surprise surprise" a flat tire again. Than we fixed it, and he managed to fuck up the tube (?) of the tire we pumped up...so change the whole one. Nice. than the road was shit. like walking and carrying bike, than it got a bit better and when we came near the peak there were loads of people, so cycling was difficult and some argumentations were done. Anyway. Made it to the topp. Nice. Downhill was scary. Bad road, carrying the bike, getting passed by MTB-people. We took it really easy, not to get a flat tire again or ruin the bike. Than the last bit was nice again and from Schierke on we had a nice pace. Than we decided to go to "Rappbodetalsperre", a big dam. There it was a really nice view, but you had to pay hard for the dam...cause uphill to it, downhill from it, uphill to the originally route. The Harz-mountains are quite nice for cycling, but you get nothing for free. Than i wanted to speed up, downhill max speed 74km/h, and than pushing harder from Westerhausen to nail the last km. Awesome tour with a really nice trainingspartner, we are just made for each other, too bad we are not gay!
