cycling (spinning) 1:00:00 [1]
ahr:127 max:148

nice and easy listening to the radio while doing it.
did 15min warm up, than 30min with change between standing and sitting every minute. felt good. than 15min cool down.

was a nice quiz at the radio, if i would have participated i would have had a new cruiser-bike right now. the guys which were participating were quite shit...

Strength Training (back & 6pack ;)) 15:00 [3]

nice exercises for belly and back. did them with quite high effort, so were quite knackered afterwards

Note

no more training today.
focus on my essay about technique in ski-skating.

Note

quite funny,
i just was wondering what i trained last year in november and..guess what...i had a runners knee diagnosed !! :D haha funny as fuck.

cycling (spinning) 1:00:00 [1]
ahr:120 max:142

what do you do when you are not able to run...right...you go back to the basement, where you have been whole last winter! nice to be back again :D

Strength Training (whole body) 30:00 [3]

no knee-exercises so ;)
but damn, long time ago i did the exercises i did today, feeling like rocky balboa afterwards

Note

and there he slapped everybody in the face:

"Can you describe your toughest training week in 2008 (day-by-day)? Did that have any specific impact for your great achievements in 2008?"
thierry: Since a while (before 2003), I decided to not record my training in a diary. The reason for this choice is that I put too much energy on just counting hours, but not much on analyzing my feelings. So unfortunately, I can?t answer precisely to this question. But, as far as I remember, it should be a week with around 20-24 hours of trainings (mostly running/orienteering). I don?t consider those « record week » as primordial to perform at my best. The most important thing is to have good basic trainings that you keep for every single week during all the winter (like uphill intervals or special orienteering sessions for example).
