sprint chasing start. started far behind leif and patrick and right infront of alex. gidof some 30sec behind with sölö. had the lead in front of alex the whole way, than different route choices on one long leg, than i was all alone, nearly catched leif, but made two mistakes ca. 20sec each. anyway, was okay. but hit my knee in a fence, so i think i will rest this afternoon.

to the 3rd i did not see the punching unit and control..so was searching for it nearly a minute until alex catched me there. than together bad route, than different route than alex, and fucked it up 20sec again. than next control fucked it up again with 20sec. so lost round about 2min

a bit better. made a mistake to the 12th control due to the control was at the wrong feature, looked for 30sec. made on the long routechoice a stupid route. and the 14th i was at the control didnt see it and looked more for it. anyway, better sprint than the first one. knee not too good afterwards

some small regional training-o. round about 200 people there, maybe more. we were there quite early, which was good, nearly no people ahead.
decided to run it fast. went for it. made two mistakes. the one was a routechoice, the other one was a bit stupid, we were a pack (gidof, patti and me) and were nailing it downhill, thats why we lost map-contact. anyway, was really nice to could push in the marshes, but nearly dying in the uphills. hope to be able to post the map, because it was AWESOME.

the best time today was 5min faster...mhm i reckon a little less mistakes i could have managed, but my legs were really tired after the sprints, so do not know how fast i could have done it

felt good.
started a little bit stressed to the first control and did not really understand the vegetation there. ran good until 4th control. than wrong track (done by runners over open field (isn`t it supposed to be orienteering?) and lost 15 sec there...than fucked up the route choice to 6th control, lost round about 1min there. than not to good orienteering in the are of 8th, 10th, 12th control. tired in the end, disappointed about my own performance in the finish. happy about the bronze medal so. at least a medal, even i was not expecting it after i had finished the race.

bad suderode. went easy uphill, than wanted to run the first forest path/road in to the right to get to stecklenberg, but should have waited a bit, cause the forest path i ran ended suddenly, so i was going cross downhill ending up in a mudswamp. mhmmm smaskens. white shoes got muddy black shoes. than back. next time i will run there i know a better route now

finally a good race. went out quite offensive with a group, nailed the first two controls. had bad control to the third and lost djurhuus and kerschbaumer there. but could already catch them to the next control. was together with muukonen and kerschi for quite a while until i messes up the 8th control. they had the shorter forking and i was not 100% on the map. lost 90sec there. damn it. rest of the race went good. shape is slowly coming back ...
