Orienteering 1:05:06 [3]

QB day 3 at Whites Line South. Probably my best run of the weekend, but only really happy with the controls after number 8, when I realised I was drifting along not pushing myself hard enough. Attempted to be a bit more mongrel but was pretty tired - I don't think I've run this many long races in a row for a while. Did generally get a bit faster and enjoyed it a lot more but it was a bit late to make too much of a difference. Only minor mistakes today, so was happier with that.

Orienteering 1:37:01 [3]

QB day 2 at White's Line. For some reason I thought that this was going to be shorter than it was, so was a bit gutted to see the 8.8km! Just couldn't get going and felt like my legs were made of lead, I think partially due to suboptimal rehydration and food yesterday. Main mistakes on 4 (which I think a lot of people had trouble with) and 13 (when I got a bit distracted).

Orienteering 25:35 [3]

Relay at Mushroom Rd. Pretty shattered from the morning and yesterday. Went alright after the first few until the second part of the spectator (9), where I stood for about a minute looking at the control descriptions on the wrong side of the map thinking I was in the right place but the number was wrong... just long enough for everyone behind to pass me a get out of sight. Luckily Karl is fast and improved our team's placing a bit after that.

Orienteering 1:18:46 [3]

QB Day 1 at Telephone Track. Made a bit of a mistake at 2, then bigger ones at 6 and 7. Most annoyed with 7, which was my biggest mistake, and mainly because I didn't use my compass well enough. Tania caught me at 7 and we were back and forth in front the rest of the way. Mucked up 16 a bit as well, but was fairly happy with the last loop.

Orienteering 17:15 [3]

Sprint at Oteha Rohe. A bit shattered from this morning and slow on the wooden verandahs because I was a bit scared of falling over in the rain! A few mistakes but mainly just couldn't get my legs going.

Got home in the dark, long day at work, seriously lacking any motivation for some reason (potentially due to my flatmates freaking me out about running alone in the dark...). So nothing. Which doesn't happen for no reason very often.

Bike 1:00:00 [3]

Usual ride, but on Thursday rather than Tuesday. 10 mins warmup, 40 harder, 10 warm down, out along Tukituki Rd and back. Pretty chilly breeze, glad I had the polyprop on, but I might have to invest in some warmer clothes for winter:)

Harriers hill run. Felt similar to last week - I think I'm in the equivalent getting better phase to the getting sick phase I was in last week. Hopefully next week will be better!

Other Sport (Indoor netball) 35:00 [3]

Played three and a half quarters, we lost 46-23. An hour after running this time, which might have been worse because I'd cooled down more.
