Orienteering race 45:43 [4] ***
20c shoes: VJ Supra, sz 11

ECKO Ardchattan, Blue, 5.3 km and 345m climb. Really lovely orienteering in the sunshine. Very hilly course - relentlessly uphill for the first half. Calum informed me beforehand that he was going to beat me today, so had to put in a bit of effort! Pushed fairly hard on the climb, and was nailing everything until a couple of silly wobbles on the easy last controls. Maybe lost a minute.

Run (off-road) 1:00:00 [1]
shoes: VJ Supra, sz 11

More explorations of Glen Nant, this time starting from Glen Lonan. Out for 2.5 hours until it was getting dark. Had pretty much ground to a halt by then after running hard at Ardchattan earlier. Saw a golden eagle up on the hill.

Bangor - to the old railway track by Porth Penrhyn and out to the viaduct. They've tarmacked it, but still very pleasant.
