XC ski from the Glencoe ski area, along the WHW in the Bridge of Orchy direction. Could have done with a few more inches of snow, but it was skiable, especially once over the summit and cruising downhill in the sunshine. About 6 miles.

The Lochaber race was cancelled so ran with Jim out and back along the track that runs through Creag Mhic. It was beautiful out there if a bit icy. Didn't find the orocs too good on the ice - the dobs just don't bite enough.
Commute. More gorgeous weather. Fingers nearly fell off, though. -8C this morning. It's amazing how good the grip is on the bike path, despite a thick, crunchy frost sparkling in the sunshine. It's just too cold to be slippery.
Commute. More stunning sunny weather. It was -7C in the garden this morning.

Lunchtime up to the trig point in Dunbeg Forest to enjoy the beautiful weather. The (usually soggy) rides were frozen solid. It was all very invigorating. It's just a bit sad that the view from the top has nearly disappeared. How much does a sitka spruce grow in a year?
