We picked up a transatlantic rower today who'd sent out a mayday in the stormy weather. Amazing. A month and a half rowing a boat all on his own. Even more amazing is that in 2001 he kayaked the whole way. I think he enjoyed the coque au vin and cheesecake for dinner!
