Orienteering race 54:24 [4] ***
21c
District event at Strensall Common. Brown, 8.8 km. Very flat, semi-open, with scattered pines, birch and a few formline bumps. A fun area to run around, despite tough going in places (tussocky marshes). Enjoyed it a lot, though wasn't orienteering or running well early on. Lots of little mistakes. Fastest was 46-some (Matt S).

From Lis' house, to the end of Hirst Woods, up Shipley Glen to Baildon Moor summit, and back. Feeling a bit heavy-legged, but it was good to be in the woods.
