York city race (5.2 km), through the medieval streets, alleys (snickleways) and parks of York. It was an absolute blast - very varied. Fastest was under 25 mins. Should probably have run earlier when there were fewer tourists and cars on the roads. The crowded marketplace took a while to get through!
Made about my stupidest O mistake of all time, taking about 3 minutes for a leg of a mere 25m (the second slowest split was about 50 secs!). Ran more than half a km on that leg, blazing over a bridge across a 300m by 50m lake, assuming it was a tiny ditch marked on the map. What I was thinking, I cannot imagine.
