Run (off-road) 55:00 [4]

Maybe it was the cooler weather these days, or the frustration of a work weekend when all were enjoying the sprint/mega, but I just had to get out for a hard run. Ran the Loop/Calloway test route at Peavy (all time best 53:15, about 6 years ago). Time was 55:15, not at 100%. Quite happy with that! I wish they'd stop putting gravel on the trails ... they were so springy and soft.

Run (off-road) 1:08:00 [2]

It's starting to feel like fall, with many hues of poison oak out in the woods. Went for a pleasant run with Tim out Mulkey Creek and up to Bald Hill summit.

Orienteering (mapping)

A few hours extending the secret-and-never-to-be used Waldo map.

Run (off-road) 1:20:00 [3]

Run up the Twins then south on the PCT, and cut back through the woods. The orienteering terrain up there is completely awesome, and I'm thinking we might be able to use it too! The view from the top was spectacular. Finished up with a swim in Waldo Lake.

Run (off-road) 20:00 [2]

Jog around the Dutchman model area to collect the flagged route.

Orienteering 40:00 [1]

Running around an area just above Bend that I thought might make a good O-map. It was disappointing.
