Green course at Gallamuir. That was great fun, cheers, Will! Great wee area, very muddy but lots of features that the Green course made good use of. Couple of fluffs but not too bad - just slow in the terrain. My knee had swollen up a bit by the time I got home but, hey ho.

Really struggling with my back today - has been dicky for a few days, waking me up with a numb/tingly right foot - so I levered myself onto the turbo to try and mobilise things a little. It definitely helped. Got off the bike to find out about the new lockdown. Geezo. Rubbish for everyone, but I feel particularly sorry for everyone who had plans to see relatives, only for those now to be quashed; what a kick in the teeth. And then there are those who'll have childcare issues until at least the 18th January because of the schools closure. God. Will it never end?

Morning circuits. Bad back.

Note

Kept awake at night by a tingly right foot - classic symptom of a slightly pinched nerve in my lower back. Trying to minimise sitting down today and walk at lunch. If it ain't one thing, it's another!

Walking 1:11:07 intensity: (3:34 @0) + (57:51 @1) + (9:42 @2) 6.87 km (10:21 / km) +162m 9:15 / km

Wee wander up to the Gathering Stane. Started off with Beccy. Quite busy with meetings - Roger breezed past on his bike, I walked past Andy Butchart (out for a walk with his dad and dog), and bumped into Jim and then Alastair. Tingly foot better, but the right knee was a bit odd. What's going to grumble next?!

Watopia - Figure of 8.
Really didn't feel like doing this tonight, but I ground it out. Legs felt jaded.

It was sunny oot so I dusted old Bertha off & headed out for some very mild winter air. Things felt odd until I realised that the last person to ride the bike had been Beccy, so the saddle was set two inches too low! Alas, no allen key, so I just had to make do; I wasn't in a hurry, anyway.
The bike was pretty clarty by the time I got back, so I dug out the hose and gave the car a quick scrub whilst I was at it. Shiny.

Strength training (Pilates) 1:00:00 [1]

Couldn't do the FVO session as B had a webinar at the wrong time, so I started early and got to add on some weights at the end. Didn't skimp on the circuits session, either!
