Cycling (Turbo) 34:29 intensity: (19 @1) + (5:13 @2) + (17:16 @3) + (11:41 @4) 20.16 km (35.1 kph) +342m

NYC - 2 x Skyline. Burnt my 1-a-day on a family walk, and only had half an hour before sorting dinner, so, best make it a short/hard blast on the turbo, then. Pushed it a little to test out the knee but just 30 mins at this mid-high effort level was enough to start it swelling up. Cr*pola.

Cycling 1:55:47 intensity: (14 @0) + (3:30 @1) + (8:24 @2) + (1:26:56 @3) + (16:43 @4) 47.94 km (24.8 kph) +525m

Early spin out west: Doune - Torrie - Ruskie - Thornhill - Doune then back via the Stirling monument. Chilly without the sunshine; kept my jacket on all the way. Taking it nice and easy and not putting much force through the knee. It still was a bit swollen afterwards, but icing it helped. My back was AOK - pretty much 1 year to the day from when I knackered it lifting that bloke back into his wheelchair.

Rest and rehydrate. Need to get that rehydration fluid bottle open and breathing.

Stuart Rennie's Meetup - The London Pretzel (well, 1h20 minutes of it).
Nice & steady today - taking it easy on the old knee. Stayed in a nice pack, even on the hill, apart from Group Leader Stuart who was cycling in a parallel universe, apparently ;-D.

Strength training 45:00 [1]

The usual, minus the lunges. Also giving Joe Wicks a miss later, as all the bouncing is killing my knee.
12 PM

Elliptigo 48:05 intensity: (23 @0) + (46 @1) + (2:30 @2) + (37:03 @3) + (7:23 @4) 17.97 km (22.4 kph) +186m
ahr:136 max:155 shoes: Elliptigo

Easy. Trying to put as little pressure as possible through my knee.
3 PM

Cycling (Road) 31:11 intensity: (5:19 @0) + (10:42 @1) + (14:19 @2) + (51 @3) 10.04 km (19.3 kph) +82m

Bimble to Kinbuck and back with Jamie. His first outing on my old Specialized Rockhopper - graduated to a full-size now!

My turn to go for a walk with Jamie and suffer an hour and a bit of blather

Cycling (Turbo) 45:21 [2] 22.03 km (29.1 kph) +238m
ahr:123 max:134 shoes: Genesis Croix de Fer 30 2016

Feeling like a sack of spuds, and with a very unhappy knee, this was a dispiriting effort. Time to step off the Conveyor belt to Corpulence and start climbing the Steep Staircase to Slimness; I no longer have the metabolism of a 20 year old. Hell, I don't even the metabolism of a 40 year old! As for the knee? Time to test how many packets of ibuprofen I'm allowed to buy in one visit to the supermarket...

Circuits, knee exercises and weights. Won't make it to Pilates tonight as I'll be livestreaming the Lockdown Orienteering Grand Final from my PC... ulp

Got roped into a Joe Wicks session with the fam. Lots of jumping aboot. Might regret it later!

Walking 20:43 intensity: (7:27 @1) + (11:44 @2) + (1:32 @3) 2.39 km (8:40 / km) +52m 7:49 / km

"Running" with Eilidh but I see that Garmin/AP has correctly classified it as walking!!! Little Ms Lazybones needs to be dragged out much more regularly, starting today. More walking than jogging, but it's a start.
