Zwift Watopia - Volcano loop. Knee swelling has mostly settled down after two days of compression gear and anti-inflammatories, so I decided to risk a short cycle before taking Jamie to the cross-country at Broxburn. Just jogging around there to spectate was enough to start things feeling niggly again.

Note

R knee now also swollen with Bakers Cyst. Time to go see if there is more to this - it's one of the symptoms of Lyme.

FVO Young Guns and Old Bangers Run. Starring Jon and I as the OBs; Jamie C, Sam H and Bruce McQ as the Young Guns; and Rog as the Man with No Name. Steady from Rog's out to the M9 r/b then over the hill to the Pipe Bridge, back up Kippenrait hill climb to Pisgah. Creaky to start; had a brief purple patch when I got to the hill climb and had two whole minutes between when my legs finally started to feel like I was running and when my knee started to hurt. Short but sweet, indeed. Enjoyed the hills. Toasted by the boys on the run back from Pisgah.

Gorgeous, crisp day outside, but my back is too crocked for me to go out for a run, so, a boring trip to the gym for me. 30 mins Elliptical and 10 mins Cross-over.

2 x 30/5. Barely sweaty - still avoiding all the knee-aggravating exercises, which turn out to be the drippy ones. Who knew.
