Orienteering 54:44 intensity: (32 @0) + (4:38 @1) + (24:02 @2) + (23:14 @3) + (2:18 @4) 6.96 km (7:52 / km) +116m 7:15 / km

Local event at Bantaskine, nice courses planned by James H that made the most of the area. Rebecca kindly agreed to shadow E around the Yellow, so I could jog around the Blue (4.7km). Unfortunately E's O bottoms had made their way into my bag, so I had to jog around in my sweat pants, which were outrageously hot and very wet by the end!
Legs rubbish and I'd had to take a painkiller for my back, but it was great to get out.

Cycling (Turbo Trainer) 50:53 intensity: (34 @0) + (2:19 @1) + (5:23 @2) + (16:57 @3) + (25:00 @4) + (40 @5) 24.77 km (29.2 kph) +499m

Home with E, so, restricted to house-bound activities. Time to test out the back on the bike, anyway.
Ye gods, what a struggle. Painfully slow, almost fell off the bike at the top of the climb - shocking! Quads fried. In 50 minutes! Geez-oh. Maybe I should just give up and drink beer.

Running 26:20 intensity: (31 @0) + (18 @1) + (33 @2) + (11:37 @3) + (13:21 @4) 4.73 km (5:34 / km) +132m 4:53 / km

I'd only wanted to turn my legs over after the cycling earlier, but, let's be honest, this was a real struggle. I even had to walk a couple of bits. Shocker.

A lovey, breezy morning for a walk up to the Gathering Stane, just Mr Red Squirrel and I up there today to admire the view of the summits.

Shadowing E around the Yellow at Tulliallan WEE - correctly identified by Garmin Connect as "Walking"! E wasn't feeling very competitive this evening.

Running (Trail) 11:26 intensity: (17 @0) + (21 @1) + (39 @2) + (2:59 @3) + (7:01 @4) + (9 @5) 2.14 km (5:21 / km) +17m 5:09 / km

Once more around the Yellow course, by myself, at a decent pace. Interesting to see how much smoother this GPS trace is than the earlier one - probably something to do with sampling rate blah blah blah

So weighed down by the phatness of my fine new undergarments that I took the direct route back to the office.
