Saturday morning slot, just time for the Coire Odhair loop on trusty old Bertha. Great morning to be out on the bike, cool but crystal clear, and lovely autumnal colours. Still a bit flat after Thursday, no oomph on the hills. TRIMP 196.6

Sky loop from work, easy as I'm still 10% down on red blood cells, as shown by high HR at the start! Once settled into it I was A-OK. LB still stiff and sore to touch, as it has been for over a week now; concerted effort to use the standing desk and inversion table for the next few days, I think. TRIMP 83.6.

Back & knees a bit stiff after running yesterday, so - back on the bike for today's lunchtime slot. Pushed along quite hard on the flat and sustained the (small) climbs - decent effort for two laps of the flat route, then 3 mins cool down. 17s flat route PB of 14:48 on lap 2 (lap 1: 14:56). Lunchtime run from home past Kippenrait house towards Waltersmuir, then up to the GS. Aka pheasant flushing: must have seen 2-300 take flight whilst running along the Kippenrait - Waltersmuir track. Moving along alright; back still gippy (has been since the weekend). Really must get some track work in this winter to break out of perma-jog mode. TRIMP 100.7.
