Hadn't planned to go out, as my back was really bad this morning, but the painkillers were working and everyone else was having so much fun that I couldn't resist. Had an OK run, just no pace. Was totally fine until the misplaced control in the Laighills; missed that and was so flustered that I stuffed up the next one, too. Got my act together after that, but didn't get the legs moving any faster, alas! More pills after finishing, hope I'll not regret all that tarmac. TRIMP 127.8.

Note - after the dodgy control and the one after have been removed from the results, it seems that I did OK apart from #18 when I clearly took the wrong route out of the school and dumped a whole minute without realising it!

Note again - entering the WOLF SOL. £15, fackin' 'ell!!! Do I get a free gold-plated dibber?!

Steady pace. Chatting to a couple on the back road (Gaz's old neighbour Stuart and his wife, as it happens), then just after they peeled off to Comrie I came across a pile of stuff in the road. Bag split open, phone, wallet, tablet, passport... blimey, someone's going to have a bad day. Must have just happened, as no cars had driven over it, so I chucked the Go in the verge and scampered over the road, picking up bits. Then I was kinda stuck, hadn't got my phone with me so couldn't try to call the owner, couldn't leave it, but there's no luggage rack on the Go... managed to strap it onto my handlebars using my bike lock and carried it for the next 35km! Didn't take long after my return to Dunblane to schedule repatriation with its grateful owner (who'd left it on the rood of his car when driving from Braco to Muthill). Karma points replenished. Jog around Kings Park after popping in to the bank on the way home from work. Felt mince, legs on backwards and knee grumbling. Slippy in roadies! Only had time for a couple of loops. TRIMP 59.7.

Virtual ride from Linlithgow train station to work in Livi. Accidentally hit the "Do not Save..." button - sigh. Easier route than in real life, as the turbo can only simulate gradients up to 7%. This route has lots of gradients greater than that! Got Google Street View integration working, which was amusing.
