Elliptigo 48:19 intensity: (1:28 @0) + (30 @1) + (3:18 @2) + (33:55 @3) + (9:08 @4) 19.88 km (24.7 kph) +102m
ahr:146 max:160 shoes: Elliptigo

Just about starting to recover from the cold, but still lacking in energy. This was more about just getting out for some air. Tailwind out = headwind back. Kept things slow. TRIMP 97.1.

Note
(rest day)

Chock full of the cold and knee a little grumbly, so, rest day definitely on the cards.

Running (Trail run) 16:04 intensity: (19 @0) + (18 @1) + (45 @2) + (7:50 @3) + (6:52 @4) 3.24 km (4:58 / km) +21m 4:48 / km
ahr:149 max:158

Baby steps. Short trot out from the office to see where the knee is at. No particular grumbles during or immediately after - although legs felt well out of sorts, I definitely didn't feel like a runner today! Not helped by the head cold, either... or the knackered 'spare' shoes, which were like sleds on the muddy bits.
Fingers crossed I can start ramping up slowly from here. TRIMP 35.5.

Elliptigo 1:50:11 intensity: (1:55 @0) + (28 @1) + (5:22 @2) + (53:44 @3) + (48:42 @4) 45.66 km (24.9 kph) +318m
ahr:150 max:163 shoes: Elliptigo

Decent length Elliptigo ride around the Braco - Middleton - Muirton route. Headwind on the way out, so I was very ready for the tailwind most of the way back from Gleneages hotel. Longest I've been out for on the Elliptigo for a while; kept effort level at steady, but I still felt it! TRIMP 247.6.
Note later: ooh, tired legs!

(rest day)

And another. Bah.

Note

Knee not swollen but does feel a bit 'poppy', so, a mandatory rest day today. Unsurprising, really.
