Note

9km walk on Levada do Norte and Levada das Rabacas from Encumeada. The tunnel adventure out and back on the Norte section took us into some lovely laurisilva forest, but on the shady side of the ridge, so it was nice to get back to the Rabacas side. J and I had an extra bit to ourselves, after E simply walked off the levada when not paying attention, thankfully only falling 6 feet into a bush, but rattling her and B, who turned back before things got more vertiginous.

Just 6 mins of intervals on the cross-over today, just in case it was this last week that triggered my knee relapse. Pretty sure that is was the Vario, but better safe than sorry.TRIMP 16.9.

GO TT hilly session. Going for a decent effort but as soon as my knee started popping out of alignment on the first peak I stepped things back - it's clearly not up to that yet. Shorter session, too. I just want to be able to walk without problems when we are in Madeira next week! TRIMP 82.8
