At last, the Go is back on the road, although it took an oily screwdriver to be shoved through my thumb to get it there. Ouch. Hopefully the new Schwalbe Marathon rear tyre will last a bit longer than the Kwest one. Short spin out to the 10km mark on the Braco road and back, to test it out (would have been longer had it not been for the screwdriver incident eating into my available time!). TRIMP 94.8.

FVO WEE at Hermitage - long course (3.5km). I am simply not fit enough to manage two sessions in one day at the moment, no matter how short! Legs utterly unresponsive. Other than a serious faff over route choice from 5-6, resulting in a minute lost, and favouring longer/slower track options over straight lines because my legs weren't up to terrain bashing, I didn't really make any mistakes; I just couldn't run fast enough tonight. If I keep this up, though, maybe, ultimately, I will. TRIMP 93.7.

Goodness me, some exercise. All my ducks are in a row for tomorrow's live deployment, so I actually had enough time to do some! Felt good, as good as I have for a while, and a week of taping my L knee seems to have helped alleviate that problem somewhat. Progress. Moving along pretty well. TRIMP 85.5
