...Lombard Street. For some hill reps. Which would have been great had it not been wet, and wet cobbles in no-grip Newtons meant that every footfall was 1/3 slip, 2/3 grip. Going down was lethal, I had to use the steps. Shame! Still, happy with the tick. Only managed six before I started to die.

Up early. Running in SFO - or, indeed, any US city - is a pain in the mammaries, having to stop at every single block intersection and wait to cross - so I hopped onto the treadmill in the hotel to try and get a steady session in. I am so unfit... pretty easy pace, but my HR was through the roof.
